Your practice
  • No experience or flexibility is required! Yoga is for everybody. As Bikram says it: 'In this class, we’re all beginners – it’s never too late, it’s never too bad, you’re never too old and never too sick to start from scratch once again!'
  • In order to be wholly effective, Bikram Yoga must be practiced daily or on a regular basis without long lapses in time inbetween. A minimum commitment of 10 lessons in 30 days is asked if you are to derive maximum benefits from Yoga.
  • Abandon the competitive mind-set. Bikram Yoga makes the body stronger, more flexible, and healthier. The goal is to calm the mind, open the heart and accelerate our evolution through self observation.
  • Keep your eyes on your own practice. We practice from the inside out. You know you are truly focused if you accomplish stillness in your practice while breathing normally.
  • Be kind, loving and accepting to yourself. Do what you can, with what you have, with where you are. Wherever, whenever in our life we begin yoga, is perfect.
